  4. 1.0     02-09-1993      First public release of TGQuote.

  6. 1.1     02-12-1993      Fixed a minor bug where TGQuote was not looking for
  7.                         the file SAYINGS.QTS properly.  See Bug Reports

  10. 2.0     02-17-1993      Added the ability to do color by using the Telegard
  11.                         color codes.  This version also allows the ability to
  12.                         add the authors.  Also released AddQuote, a program
  13.                         that allows the user to add quotes without the need
  14.                         of a text editor.  Also incorporated a new layout.

  16. 3.0     03-13-1993      More flexibility added.  TGQuote now allows you to
  17.                         change the header, color, and the author field.  Also
  18.                         integrated in this version is the ability to do a 4
  19.                         line quote.  Also released SetQuote, a program that
  20.                         allows the user to make changes to the setup of
  21.                         TGQuote with ease.

  23. 3.1     03-16-1993      Fixed a minor bug where SetQuote was not saving some
  24.                         of the fields correctly.  See Bug Reports section

  27. 3.5     04-18-1993      Much more flexibility added.  TGQuote now has three
  28.                         layouts to choose from instead of one.  This release
  29.                         welcomes the return of the box layout.  TGQuote can
  30.                         also randomly select between the three layouts.  Also,
  31.                         AddQuote is a little more informative when editing
  32.                         quotes.  It now displays the bad quote on the bottom
  33.                         of the screen when correcting it.

  35. 3.6     04-26-1993      Fixed a minor bug in AddQuote.  When entering many
  36.                         quotes without exiting the program, sometimes AddQuote
  37.                         would do one of two things:  1) It would not let you
  38.                         enter all the lines to a quote; or 2) It would not
  39.                         store the quote properly.  Sometimes it even did both!

  42.                         Also, added some minor features to TGQuote that were
  43.                         intended to be included in the 3.5 release, but were
  44.                         somehow missed.  See Bug Reports section below.

  47. 4.0     07-03-1993      Major upgrade.  This version now allows the user to
  48.                         manually select a quote, generate a text only file,
  49.                         edit a quote, print a quote, use different quote files,
  50.                         run AddQuote remotely, and much more.  This version
  51.                         also has many more styles for the layouts, and includes
  52.                         the ability to do ANSI.

  54. 4.1     07-17-1993      Fixed many minor bugs within the program.  When
  55.                         entering an option in manual mode of TGQuote, if the
  56.                         option was not listed as a valid option, TGQuote would
  57.                         do something very weird.  Many other bugs were fixed.

  60. 4.2     08-23-1993      Fixed several bugs in the remote mode of AddQuote.
  61.                         TGQuote will now work properly when used with the
  62.                         included ADDQUOTE.BAT file, and X-Shell.  Please read

  64.                         examples on how to setup your BBS to use this
  65.                         feature.  See Bug Reports section below.  - FIXED -

  67. 4.5     02-01-1994      Several changes and additions.  SetQuote, and AddQuote
  68.                         re-written from the ground up.  The remote mode of
  69.                         AddQuote was completely re-written, and renamed to
  70.                         RemoteQuote.  More layout styles added, along with the
  71.                         ability to add an "author note."  Maximum number of
  72.                         lines allowed in a quote raised to 10.  New coding
  73.                         used in several places.  RIP graphics capability
  74.                         added.  Many other changes and additions.  Please read
  75.                         the WHATS.NEW file contained in this archive for a
  76.                         list of what has been added/changed for this version.

  78. 5.0     06-23-1994      Several changes and additions.  Colors for RIP
  79.                         graphics are now the same as those for ANSI.  TGQuote
  80.                         must now be registered.  A feature to design a custom
  81.                         layout has been added for ANSI users; and a feature
  82.                         to import an ANSI or RIP file.  The .QTS files had a
  83.                         minor structure change, and can be modified to the
  84.                         5.0 format with CONVERT.EXE.  EditQuote has returned,
  85.                         although the move feature has yet been included again.
